Job Summary
Conduct electronic testing, both manual and automated, on Line Replaceable Units, circuit card assemblies, and components in a production environment. Perform electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation while operating test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Assist Test Engineering on trends, root causes, and corrective actions, and participate in process improvement activities. Adhere to policies including equipment calibration, ESD, FOD, and general housekeeping. This DoW SkillBridge internship connects transitioning service members with industry-specific training to prepare them for civilian careers within L3Harris defense technology.
Required Qualifications
- Active member of the U.S. military
- 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to date of separation
- At least 180 continuous days of active service
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience
- Department of Defense Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Adherence to L3Harris policies and procedures
- Calibration of equipment
- ESD (electrostatic discharge) compliance
- FOD (foreign object debris/damage) compliance
- General housekeeping standards
- 9/80 1st shift schedule
- Salt Lake City, Utah location
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of RF and digital signals
- Knowledge of basic Analog, Digital and RF circuitry
- Comfortable using PC based applications
- Experience using test equipment (RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, voltage meters and oscilloscopes)
- Previous electronics manufacturing, test and debug education and experience
