DoW/DoD Logistics Records Manager & Operations Coordinator (Consultant)

Job Summary
Execute electronic records management activities by applying DoW records requirements and NARA guidance to support appraisal, classification, retention, and disposition processes. Assess and organize legacy records on O: Drives, mapping folder structures to SharePoint Online architecture while applying metadata, naming conventions, and access controls. Support bulk file migration, data cleansing, and exception management to ensure accurate, legally compliant, and auditable defense asset tracking. Provide stakeholder guidance on records policies and document migration procedures and disposition decisions. Work on-site in Alexandria, VA up to five days weekly with a Secret Clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years' experience
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, including document libraries, metadata, permissions, versioning, content types, and information architecture
- Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be willing to work on-site in Alexandria, VA up to 5 days a week
- Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant professional experience in records management, information governance, information management, or a related field
- Familiarity with NARA guidelines, records management requirements, and related processes, including records schedules, retention and disposition, records transfer, preservation, and documentation requirements
- Direct Department of War records management experience
- Demonstrated experience managing electronic records and applying records lifecycle concepts
- Experience working directly with NARA or supporting NARA-related records management activities
- Familiarity with federal records management directives, records schedules, legal holds, disposition documentation, and records transfer procedures
- Experience supporting records migration, file inventory, data cleansing, or repository consolidation efforts
- Experience analyzing and migrating files from network drives, including O: Drives or similar legacy repositories
