Doula (Lousiana)

Provide birth and postpartum doula support to families in Louisiana as part of Pomelo Care's network. Responsibilities include educating and guiding families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period; improving birth outcomes by offering emotional and physical support; maintaining timely and accurate visit documentation; adhering to privacy, quality, and compliance standards for telehealth-enabled services; credentialing and administrative processes to support independent practice; client matching, outreach support, and charting/documentation assistance to streamline workflow; and flexible scheduling to accommodate families, including evenings and weekends. Skills and qualifications include completed birth and/or full-spectrum doula certification, deep knowledge of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery, strong verbal and written communication to engage diverse families virtually and in-person, proficiency with telehealth and electronic documentation systems, and the ability to manage independent practice within Louisiana.
