Job Summary
CapTech seeks a DotCMS Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level content management solutions using the dotCMS platform. You will drive technical design and architecture for dotCMS implementations across web and digital solutions, translate requirements from business and IT teams into scalable solutions, develop integration strategies with third‐party systems and APIs, establish coding, deployment, and maintenance standards, mentor developers through code reviews and troubleshooting, stay current with dotCMS updates and industry best practices, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, high-performing web applications. This role requires strong Java, RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, experience with cloud hosting, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and familiarity with CMS migrations, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Agile methodologies, and integrations with CRM/ERP/marketing automation. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience architecting and implementing solutions with dotCMS or similar CMS platforms
- Strong expertise in Java, RESTful APIs, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with cloud hosting environments, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Knowledge of security standards and performance optimization for web applications
- Experience with enterprise-level CMS migrations and digital transformation projects
- Certified Java Developer or other industry-recognized certifications
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Experience integrating dotCMS with CRM, ERP, or marketing automation platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative solutions
