Job Summary
Conduct pre-post-trip inspections on DOT-compliant trucks and safely operate vehicles weighing up to 26,000 pounds. Deliver beverages to store accounts, unloading, merchandising, and rotating product to meet PBV and customer standards. Execute promotions, obtain required signatures for invoice settlement, and communicate issues to store personnel. Maintain positive relationships with primary contacts while performing heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 56 pounds and pushing/pulling loads with a pallet jack. Work in a fast-paced environment requiring regular, reliable attendance and adherence to all DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment
- Must be able to obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and 45 business days from their date of hire in which to obtain the license, if CDL is not currently held
- Positive attitude
- Detail oriented
- Ability to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time
