Job Summary
DOT Nurse Practitioner provides professional nursing care during DOT physicals and drug-screen events, assists physicians with procedures, performs telephone triage, and conducts patient teaching. Oversees LPNs and medical assistants, requires MN NP licensure with IL registration, NCRME certification, and vaccination. Typical hours 6:00am–8:00pm; pay $85–$90 per hour. Medical office environment with potential physical demands and exposure to diseases; requires recent clinical nursing experience and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Nurse Practitioner licensed to practice in Minnesota with current Illinois registration and in good standing
- NCRME certification
- Must be fully vaccinated
