DOT Driver - Class A CDL with Tanker/Hazmat

Job Summary
Drive a commercial truck and trailers to pick up, haul, and unload equipment and supplies to and from job sites and customer locations while inspecting cargo for damage. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and weekly equipment inspections per FMCSR, complete DOT documentation, and obtain customer signatures for invoicing. Maintain the assigned vehicle, assist with loading orders, and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed. Comply with current DOT regulations, including timely qualification renewals and electronic logging device requirements. Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement, 12 months of verifiable DOT experience, and manufacturer field-level training in respiratory and instrumentation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- HAZMAT endorsement
- at least 12 months of verifiable DOT driving experience within the last three (3) years
- valid DOT medical examiners certificate with a minimum of 3 months prior to expiration
- be insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance while driving the company truck
- satisfactory driving record meeting all requirements of the FMCSR and company policies
- Minimum of manufacturer field level training and certification in respiratory and instrumentation
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- valid proof of vehicle insurance
- Must comply with current DOT regulations
- Must pass internal forklift training and certification
