Job Summary
The DOT Driver is responsible for driving a commercial truck and various trailers to pick up, haul, and unload equipment and supplies for customers. The role requires compliance with DOT regulations, including documentation, inspections, and vehicle maintenance. Successful candidates must possess a minimum of 12 months of DOT driving experience, a valid medical examiner's certificate, and a commercial driver’s license with HAZMAT endorsement. The role involves ensuring safety procedures are followed, conducting timely deliveries, and assisting in equipment servicing and maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of verifiable DOT driving experience within the last three (3) years
- Valid DOT medical examiner's certificate with a minimum of 3 months prior to expiration
- Insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance
- Satisfactory driving record meeting FMCSR and company policies
- Commercial driver's license with HAZMAT endorsement
- Comply with current DOT regulations
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturer field level training and certification in respiratory and instrumentation
- Valid proof of vehicle insurance
- Internal forklift training and certification
