Job Summary
Conduct furniture delivery and setup in customers' homes while operating the delivery vehicle safely and maintaining strict time windows. Unload or load product at residences, stores, or warehouses, and accurately document transactions via mobile device or paperwork. Perform necessary team lifting of up to 150 pounds and assist in warehouse or showroom operations when needed. Maintain high performance levels by adhering to customer delivery schedules. Shifts begin at 7:30 am and run until completion, with routes typically spanning four or five days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a current Driver's License
- Must have a clean driving record with minimal moving violations
- Must be willing and able to push, pull, and repeatedly team lift 150 pounds throughout your shift
- Must be able to achieve DOT Certification
- Must be able to pass background requirements and drug screen including THC testing
- Must successfully complete a physical assessment to be considered for the position
- Must be able to move 150 pounds, including lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling furniture
- Must wear proper Havertys-provided uniforms
- Must wear steel-toed work boots/shoes
