Job Summary
Perform product deliveries along assigned routes, inspect vehicle equipment and supplies, and assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses. Place delivered products in assigned storage locations, maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage, and immediately communicate problems to the Transportation Supervisor. Read maps, follow written and verbal geographic directions, and manage multiple assignments while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies. Complete administrative tasks, review customer invoices, report mechanical problems or accidents, and maintain records including vehicle logs and billing statements. Requires at least one year of CDL-A driving experience, valid Class A license, and DOT certification. Hourly pay with medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, profit sharing, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE-YEAR CDL-A DRIVING EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST THREE YEARS
- Must know and adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- At least 1 year of route driving experience required
- DOT certification required
- Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residence
- Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines
- Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new applications/proprietary software
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs
- Basic math skills required
- High school diploma or GED
