Job Summary
The DOSIC - C5I Submarine SWFTS Modernization Specialist will conduct deck plate audits and surveillances, document findings, and manage project schedules. Responsibilities include preparing SHIPALT/ECI WAFs and tags, identifying tracked progress vs. actual results, and ensuring proper execution of deck plate work sequencing. Candidates must possess a strong work controls background and provide written reports to the Government On-Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC). Mandatory qualifications include an Active Secret US Government Clearance, relevant work experience, and the ability to interpret drawing issues.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret US Government Clearance
- Ten (10) years of practical experience with High School diploma/GED or six (6) years practical experience with a degree/formal training in Engineering Technology, math, or science or formal electronics training
- Practical knowledge in conducting deck plate audits and surveillances
- Strong work controls background
- Experience in project schedule management
- Experience identifying and tracking planned vs. actual progress
- Experience identifying problem or weak areas with the Alteration Installation Team (AIT)
- Experience in identifying and interpreting drawing issues
- Experience working with the AIT for proper work sequencing
- Ability to provide written inputs to the Government On-Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC)
- Experience in trip and weekly status report preparation
Desired Qualifications
- Submarine Combat Systems Modernization experience
- WAF and Tagout generation experience
- Development of Liaison Action Record (LAR) and Departure From Specification (DFS)

- US Citizenship is required to maintain an Active Clearance
