Job Summary
Doorman at a hotel in Amman responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, coordinating taxis for in-house guests, directing traffic at the front entrance, maintaining a clean and orderly entrance and communicating any incidents to Guest Service Manager. Responsibilities include liaising with valet staff for parking, ensuring guest cars are parked with care, reporting accidents or issues promptly, maintaining security awareness, guiding guests to destinations for hotel events, and upholding health and safety standards. Must be able to work in an in-person, fast-paced environment with good English communication; prior customer service experience and Opera system familiarity are assets. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service is an asset
- Experience with Opera or a related system is an asset
- Fluency in English (verbal & written) is required
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense environment
- Must be flexible in terms of working hours and willing to work overnight
