Job Summary
Install, replace, and repair interior and exterior doors (slab, prehung, bifold, pocket, entry, French, sliding, storm) and associated hardware. Diagnose alignment, framing, and hardware issues; ensure proper fit, operation, and finish on all installs. Perform refinishing prep, minor carpentry as needed, and communicate clearly with clients throughout the job. Follow job checklists and company procedures; maintain clean, organized job sites and vehicles; collect payment and keep job records accurate. This role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, performance-based earning potential up to $30/hour, and a structured professional environment with growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of residential door installation and repair experience
- Strong carpentry skills (layout, framing adjustments, trim work)
- Experience with door hardware, alignment, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using mobile apps and job management tools
