Job Summary
Door Support Operations Manager leading daily Door Support operations (Door Parts, Door Paint, and Punch & Wash) on the 3rd shift at Mason City, Iowa, to ensure efficient material flow, on-time delivery of high-quality products, and a safe, engaging work environment. Responsibilities include staffing resources, supporting manufacturing teams, removing barriers to performance, promoting safety and quality, participating in start-up meetings and safety talks, driving engagement through CHIP/PEER/GEMBA initiatives, maintaining a visible shop-floor presence, planning manpower to meet production schedules, scheduling vacations, training and coaching employees, providing performance feedback and corrective action, identifying and implementing process improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency, tracking and reporting goals, monitoring inventory in assigned areas, and collaborating with cross-functional teams while adhering to EH&S policies.
Required Qualifications
- Post–high school education preferred
- Supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing or operations environment preferred
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Flexibility to work hours as required by operational needs
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
