Job Summary
Lead engineering efforts for vehicle module localization, integration, and post-launch program performance within the Local Support Department. Act as the primary interface between the plant and core engineering teams to manage supplier quality, resolve design issues, and drive containment actions for warranty and stop-build incidents. Conduct root cause diagnosis on design-related problems, manage Jira projects, and lead cross-functional meetings to address early claim binning and prevent recurrence. Analyze returned parts data to identify quality trends, raise DCRs and ECRs, and support cost reduction activities while ensuring compliance with engineering and production standards.
Required Qualifications
- Related Degree in Engineering field
- English language: Fluent
- Quality tools like Six Sigma DMAIC, DFMEA, DFA, GD&T, 8D etc.
- Experience of 5 years in automotive Door Closures mature markets homologation requirements, tooling development timing and manufacturing process
- Exposure to BEV Vehicle requirements and testing
- Experience in the automotive environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new situations quickly and constraints
