Job Summary
Senior Strategic Analytics role on the Card Risk team leading analytics to develop and optimize Acquisition Risk Management strategies, policies, practices, and controls for Chase Consumer Card Services. Conduct complex analysis, develop acquisition analytics from internal/external data, support risk strategy and product roadmap, manage risk strategies to improve financial performance and risk mitigation, and collaborate with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure policy compliance. Requires 5+ years of analytics experience in financial services or consulting; strong SQL, Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau skills; ability to translate analyses into concise recommendations; cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 5 years experience with at least 2 years of analytics experience in financial services or consulting
- Ability to logically structure analyses using strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate complex analysis into concise presentations with clear recommendations and action items
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail to deliver new strategies with strong testing and tracking focus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly skilled at SQL coding, Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau
- Prior experience of working in card industry in strategy / policy role
- Master’s degree preferred
