Job Summary
Donor Specialist handles donation intake, sorts and grades donated goods for resale, processes items in a fast-paced retail environment, and assists with loading/unloading donations. Responsibilities include providing donation receipts to guests, addressing guest questions, promoting teamwork, following training materials, and maintaining a neat donor door/ADC area while adhering to safety practices. This part-time role supports Goodwill of North Georgia’s mission at the Northside Store and involves interaction with guests and collaboration with management to meet production goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years production experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older to operate forklift
- Basic math and reading skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation
