Job Summary
Provides donor registration and interviews, conducts phlebotomy for whole blood collections, monitors donor recovery and manages adverse donor reactions; performs tests (BP, temperature, pulse, hematocrit/hemoglobin), prepares samples, ensures proper unit handling and documentation, recruits donors to Blood Bank Programs, and works at multiple draw locations with a focus on customer service, accuracy, and safety in a laboratory/medical environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current CPR Certification
- Phlebotomy Certificate (if applicable)
- Medical Assistant or CNA Diploma (if applicable)
- EMT Certificate (if applicable)
- Current California Driver’s license
