Job Summary
Accept donated goods from the public, greet donors at their vehicle, and assist in unloading acceptable donations in a timely and courteous manner. Thank each donor and ensure a receipt is offered regardless of donation size. Maintain the donation area neat, clean, and orderly while sorting items according to Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest requirements. Prepare records and reports as requested, keeping an accurate donor count on the DSC Worksheet. Store donations securely indoors, ensure equipment is in good working order, and lock the DSC at closing. Call the supervisor at shift start to report in and advise of site conditions. Comply with all policies, safety regulations, and CARF standards while maintaining required dress and grooming.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass background check
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and acceptable dress in compliance with Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest's Dress Code
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Maintain agency confidentiality
- Comply with all health, safety and fire standards and all local, state and federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA)
