Job Summary
Donor Services Specialist II provides safe, high-quality donor experiences through screening, blood collection, donor education, and operational support in both donor centers and mobile operations. Roles progress from donor screening and operational support to certified whole blood phlebotomy and advanced responsibilities based on organizational need. Responsibilities include greeting and registering donors, explaining donation processes, guiding toward appropriate donation types, supporting donor retention and appointment scheduling, maintaining safety and confidentiality, and ensuring proper labeling and handling of blood products. Travel to mobile drives or other locations may be required; role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to SOPs/COPs, and regulatory compliance. Eligible for varied shifts and both fixed-site and mobile operations; may involve driving CCBC vehicles and possible CDL training.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED, required
- Must have a clean driving record
- One year of working in a customer service position, preferred
- Certification preferred
- Basic CPR certification, preferred
