Job Summary
To assist and promote through positive customer service the donations of clothing and household items to Goodwill Keystone Area for resale in its store locations. Duties include greeting donors, assisting with donations ( unloading from vehicles, issuing receipts, handling items per policy), completing donor tracking paperwork, assisting transportation and production areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness, pricing and loading materials, supporting programs and events, and communicating progress and issues to the Production Manager. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment with safety precautions; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; forklift license or ability to obtain certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to speak English
- Must possess good customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for extended period
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends
- Possession of forklift license or ability to become certified as forklift operator
