Job Summary
Identify, develop, and implement creative strategies to attract, manage, and retain potential blood drive sponsors and feeder groups to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals. Coordinate activities with collections personnel to ensure efficient scheduling of blood drives and provide operational support to sponsors. Schedule and implement education programs for sponsor contacts, recruitment committees, line volunteers, and volunteer telerecruiters to assist in meeting collection objectives. Maintain accurate records in the system to provide tracking and statistical data on sponsor group performance. Apply knowledge of the community, government, demographics, and organizations to service sponsor groups and expand the blood program.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR a combination of education and work experience
- 1 year of related experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills
- A current valid driver's license and good driving record
- May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization

- Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs
