Job Summary
Greet each donor with a cheerful disposition, unload and sort materials according to GWH guidelines, and maintain accurate records while issuing completed donation receipts. Provide excellent customer service, assist with keeping production supplies available, and help with loading and unloading merchandise and equipment as needed. Ensure the security and safety of team members and property, perform necessary janitorial work, and keep work areas neat and clean with all aisles clear. Report all work incidents and injuries immediately and adhere to all GWH policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Maintain punctuality, dependable attendance, and an appropriate appearance while demonstrating professionalism and a friendly, cooperative attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and interact well with a variety of personality types
- Poses excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, kneel, push, and pull
- Able to lift, up to, 40 lbs
- Occasionally able to lift/move items, up to, 100 lbs
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be punctual and have dependable attendance
- Must maintain an appropriate appearance
- Must conduct work in a safe manner
- Must maintain good housekeeping standards
- Must keep all aisles and pathways to fire exits clear and free from clutter
- Must keep work areas neat and clean
- Must demonstrate professionalism and present a friendly, cooperative attitude
- Must be able to multi-task

- Must be able to sort and process donations in preparation for the next steps in the GWH river process
- Must be able to maintain accurate records of donations
- Must be able to issue completed donation receipts to all donors
- Must be able to unload and sort materials in the donation area according to GWH guidelines
- Must be able to assist with keeping production supplies available
- Must be able to assist with loading and unloading merchandise and equipment as needed
- Must be able to assist with the security and safety of GWH team members and property

Desired Qualifications
- Retail sales experience is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
