Job Summary
Greet donors promptly upon arrival, collect donations using carts, and sort items into proper categories. Accept furniture donations, stage them, and assist with moving priced items to the sales floor. Operate pallet jacks to load outbound trailers and accurately record all donations on tablets while issuing receipts. Maintain safety standards by wearing required PPE, ensuring aisles are clear, and reporting any incidents immediately. Perform necessary janitorial work and assist with equipment loading/unloading as needed. This role supports Goodwill Houston's mission by transforming lives through the power of work, requiring a friendly demeanor, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively and interact well with individuals with diverse personalities and communication styles

- Must have reliable transportation

- Must ensure all aisles and pathways to fire exits are clear and free of clutter
- Must adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations
