Donor Floor Lead

Job Summary
Oversee daily donor floor operations, including plasmapheresis procedures, donor interactions, and equipment functionality. Evaluate vein suitability, monitor donor reactions, and respond promptly to complaints or deferrals while educating new donors on specialty programs. Perform all aspects of plasma collection, from setup to disconnect, ensuring compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines. Troubleshoot equipment issues, prepare equipment for calibration, and verify maintenance completion. Review donor records for cGMP accuracy, maintain DMS computer entries, and provide guidance to staff. Lead by example to promote customer service, communicate operational updates, and ensure a clean, stocked environment. Maintain proper supply lot numbers and alert management to equipment risks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification (required in California)
- Employment eligibility verification
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience
- Experience in medical office, healthcare, or plasma/blood collection center
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in environments with bloodborne pathogens and cold storage areas
