Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician III, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining high levels of customer service and donor experience. Duties include monitoring donor conditions, maintaining donor center equipment, and keeping accurate records. You will assist with donor eligibility assessments, perform plasmapheresis procedures, and manage product processing. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions, and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
