Job Summary
Join Octapharma Plasma as a Donor Center Technician I, responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining a high level of customer service and a clean work environment, monitoring donor conditions, and handling equipment associated with plasma collection. This role includes performing donor eligibility evaluations, operating automated plasmapheresis machines, and managing product processing while adhering to strict Standard Operating Procedures. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, and strong organizational and communication skills, as well as basic computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
- Attendance and punctuality required.
