Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician I at Octapharma Plasma, you'll ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service for donors. Responsibilities include monitoring donor conditions, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, operating plasmapheresis machines, performing donor eligibility evaluations, and ensuring proper collection and processing of plasma products. A high school diploma is required along with basic computer skills and strong customer service abilities. You must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
- Attendance and punctuality required.
