Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician I, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining high standards of operational hygiene and customer service. Key duties include conducting donor assessments, monitoring donor conditions, and managing plasma collection processes. You will also handle product processing and perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Additionally, strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to follow established procedures are essential for this role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required
- Strong customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required
- Effective communication skills required
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to workday and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis
- Attendance and punctuality required
