Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician I at Octapharma Plasma, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintain high levels of customer service, cleanliness of the work area, and proper donor monitoring for comfort and safety. Your responsibilities will include performing donor vitals evaluations, setting up equipment for procedures, handling plasma product storage, and adhering to safety and operational standards. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, effective communication skills, and the ability to accurately interpret instructions and perform basic calculations. Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills are essential for the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
