Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician I, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining high levels of customer service and donor experience. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area, monitoring donor conditions for safety and comfort, and operating machines for plasma collection. You will also be responsible for donor eligibility assessments, maintaining accurate records, performing quality controls on equipment, and handling biohazardous waste. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to adhere to standard operating procedures for donor and product safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required
- Strong customer service skills required
- Strong organizational skills required
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required
- Effective communication skills required
