Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician, you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining high levels of customer service and donor experience. Responsibilities include monitoring donor conditions for safety and comfort, performing donor eligibility evaluations, and handling plasma product collections. You will also manage administrative tasks, maintain cleanliness and order of the work area, and operate specialized equipment. The role requires adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, effective communication, and strong organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
