Job Summary
Join Octapharma Plasma as a Donor Center Technician I, where you will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while providing high-quality customer service and a positive donor experience. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment and cleanliness, monitoring donor conditions, and performing procedures for plasma collection. You will also evaluate donor eligibility, handle plasma products, and ensure proper record-keeping. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
