Job Summary
Join Octapharma Plasma as a Donor Center Technician I, where you'll be responsible for operational compliance with regulations, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the work area, and monitoring donor conditions for safety and quality. Key tasks include performing donor eligibility evaluations, setting up equipment for procedures, handling plasma product, maintaining accurate records, and responding to equipment alerts. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work day and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
- Attendance and punctuality required.
