Job Summary
As a Donor Center Technician I, you will ensure operations comply with state and federal regulations, maintain high customer service levels, and ensure donor comfort and safety. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of the work area, managing donor equipment, monitoring donor conditions, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be involved in plasma collection and processing, including the setup of equipment and storage of plasma product. Ideal candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
