Job Summary
Join Octapharma Plasma as a Donor Center Technician I, where you will ensure operations are compliant with state and federal regulations, maintaining high customer service standards and a clean work environment. Responsibilities include monitoring donor conditions, performing vitals evaluations, and operating automated plasmapheresis machines. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and effective communication and organizational skills. Candidates should be willing to work flexible hours and have strong customer service abilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Ability to speak, read, write (legibly and accurately), and understand English required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to read, follow, and interpret regulations, instructions and manuals required.
- Ability to understand verbal instruction required.
- Ability to read numbers on screening equipment and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
- Effective communication skills required.
Desired Qualifications
- Three (3) months’ experience in clerical or customer service position preferred.
- Specific certification or licensing based on State requirements.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to workday and evening hours, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts on a frequent basis.
- Attendance and punctuality required.
