Job Summary
Collect lifesaving blood donations at fixed site locations by personally connecting with volunteer donors, listening to their stories, and ensuring they feel comfortable returning. Collaborate with teammates to maintain a welcoming environment while following all safety procedures to ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements for safe transfusion. Be detail-oriented throughout the shift to support accurate data entry and process compliance. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to travel within a 2-hour radius of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and work a variable 4x10-hour schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Paid training provided with no prior medical experience required; phlebotomy experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree OR a combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting
- Current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs
- Good manual dexterity
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Adaptability to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- Ability to travel as you may be scheduled to work at other donor center locations within a 2-hour radius of Green Bay
- Ability to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work a variable schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy experience
- Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.)
- Prior leadership experience
