Donor Care Technician - Mobiles

Greet donors and guests by opening doors, identifying individuals by name, and engaging them with a genuine appreciation for their charitable act. Perform donor eligibility assessments through computer verification, medical history reviews, and physical screenings while providing educational materials. Conduct donor health history and physical assessments, select proper collection materials, and escort donors through the next phase to ensure a smooth handoff to the collections team. Maintain storefront cleanliness and organization, verify night cleaning staff duties, and report non-conformances immediately. Communicate the organization's vision and values, stay close to the customer through active engagement, and report observations that may impact the donor experience. Perform reception and telephone duties, stock the donor screening room, and participate in blood drives and special events as assigned. Requires valid driver's license, dependable transportation, and flexibility to work varied hours including weekends with potential schedule changes under 24 hours' notice.
