Job Summary
Donations & Community Engagement Coordinator responsible for leading the agency’s in-kind donation program, donor relations, and partnerships while coordinating donation logistics, volunteer systems, and community outreach. Key duties include managing relationships with individual donors, corporations, schools, faith-based organizations, and community partners; overseeing donation intake, storage, inventory, and distribution; developing systems for volunteer engagement via the VoHUB platform; supporting grant reporting and program operations; coordinating donation drives and community outreach events; and maintaining accurate records and reporting for internal stakeholders. Requires excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational and data-tracking abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with travel within the community and occasional evenings/weekends. Responsibilities emphasize compliance with agency standards, safety requirements, and collaboration with internal programs to maximize impact of donated goods and volunteer resources.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of work experience
- Valid AZ driver’s license
- Ability to pass Level One Fingerprint clearance or obtain clearance
- Must be 21 years of age or older to drive on behalf of Catholic Charities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) and ability to learn donor/volunteer/inventory/reporting systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations
