Job Summary
Donations Associate – Level 2 responsible for delivering customer service at the donation door, receiving and sorting incoming donations by quality, and guiding others as a Donation Door subject matter expert. Maintains a clean, organized donation area while following safety standards and tracking movement of donated goods with an electronic tablet. Performs warehouse tasks, learns basic production tasks, pricing, and disinfection processes, and crosses-trains across production areas. Uses manual machinery such as pallet jacks, and gains certification in heavier equipment like balers and compactors. Collaborates with Production and Retail to handle unsellable items, participates in daily huddles, and supports store goals with strong attention to safety and process adherence.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum age 18 years of age required for heavy machinery certification
- Scheduling flexibility and evenings and weekend availability
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Able to adhere to consistent attendance and weekly working hours expectations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds
- Willingness to wear PPE and safety equipment
- Experience with manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, walking stackers, hand trucks, dollies, baler and compactor (training/certification available)
- Knowledge of production/disinfection processes (Sterifab) and PPE requirements
