Job Summary

As a Donation Specialist, you will handle hundreds of donations daily, greet and assist donors, accept donations, and sort them by type and quality. You will operate light machinery for moving heavy loads and provide an excellent customer experience by issuing donation receipts and ensuring positive interactions. The role requires a friendly attitude, basic math and literacy skills, and flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends. Physical capability to lift and move objects is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic mathematical and literacy skills to support your tasks
  • Ability to use essential job equipment and tools
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check meeting agency standards
  • Physical capability to lift and move objects, including lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience in light manufacturing, warehouse work, or donation-related tasks
  • High school diploma, GED, HiSET, or equivalent
