Job Summary
Sort donations into saleable and non-saleable products, hang items, tag sorted goods, steam garments, and box markdowns and excess stock. Perform manual handling up to 10kg in a back-of-house capacity at the Red Cross Shop in Orange. Complete an induction into the organization and retail program, and pass a National Police check. Commit to a minimum of four hours weekly with shifts available six days a week. Contribute to rescuing pre-loved clothing from landfills and supporting vulnerable people across Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 hour commitment each week
- You must be at least 15 years of age (QLD – You must be 16)
- Completing a National Police check
- You will also be required to complete an Induction into our organisation and Retail program
- Moving boxes and manual handling up to 10kg will be required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience sorting donated goods is desirable but not required
