Job Summary
Open and close the donation center while greeting donors with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude. Respectfully receive donations and issue receipts regardless of size, then assist donors with lifting items in and out of vehicles. Sort donated items according to GICF policies and procedures while adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards. Assist with loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed. Perform work inside and outside, including exposure to weather conditions, dust, dirt, electricity, noise, fumes, and chemicals. This role supports Goodwill Industries of Central Florida's mission to divert over 20 million pounds of waste from landfills and empower individuals through job training and placement services.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds independently
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance
