Job Summary
Greet donors and assist with unloading vehicles, treating all donations with respect. Sort items into proper containers by category, clean donation areas inside and out, and strive to meet daily goals while following established Best Practices. Perform duties as directed, including standing, stooping, and carrying items weighing 20-100 pounds. Work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Complete a background check. Join a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to diverse perspectives and supporting individuals from various backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Requires standing, stooping, bending, and carrying for entire shift (excluding break times).
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Requires moving 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.
- Requires tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
- Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.
- Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all requirements of the job.
- Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- All positions require the completion of a background check.
