Job Summary
Receive and receipt all donated materials per policy while safeguarding assigned equipment. Courteously advise donors on unacceptable items or heavy loads requiring route trucks. Maintain the Donation Center and surrounding area in a neat, clean condition. Sort and load trailers per center policy. Report immediately to the supervisor regarding complaints, damage, unsafe conditions, or injuries. Do not allow unauthorized personnel in the center. Ensure no merchandise is kept, sold, or diverted without written Administrator permission. Support the work therapy program by modeling professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must be able to use machinery for push/pull over 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to stand over 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to walk over 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to reach over 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to climb over 2/3 of the time
- Must be able to stoop over 2/3 of the time
