Job Summary
Donation Center Attendant PT handles accepting donated goods at the Attended Donation Center under general supervision. Duties include greeting donors, explaining what can be accepted or refused, providing gift receipts, sorting textiles, shoes, appliances, and furniture, and securing the donation area at shift end. Additional duties may include responding to alarm calls if assigned. Requires basic reading/writing, simple math, physical ability to stand, walk, lift items up to 100 pounds (occasionally up to 600 pounds for crates), and ability to assist customers with donations in a busy retail environment. Compensation includes hourly pay between $16.94 and $22.70, with benefits such as retirement plan contributions, tuition/gym reimbursement, paid time off, and referral bonuses.
