Job Summary
Greet donors promptly, unload donations from vehicles, and provide tax receipts while maintaining accurate daily counts. Break down donated items into categories and ensure all property remains with Memphis Goodwill, preventing personal use. Maintain the drive-through and ADC site according to image and safety standards, including proper handling of material movement equipment. Order and maintain supplies efficiently, reporting any safety hazards or injuries to leadership. Assist the Transportation team with equipment delivery and pickup when possible. Attend in-service training as assigned by the team leader coach and communicate opportunities found at the site. Perform all assigned duties within the framework of our Guiding Principles.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to greet donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner within 10 seconds
- Ability to unload donations from vehicles
- Ability to offer tax receipts
- Ability to maintain accurate daily counts of donations
- Ability to ensure donations remain property of Memphis Goodwill
- Ability to ensure donations are not used in a personal nature
- Ability to guide donations through the Goodwill river
- Ability to break down donations into categories
- Ability to maintain drive-through and ADC site in accordance with image and safety standards
- Ability to order and maintain supplies in an efficient manner
- Ability to secure and appropriately use supplies
- Ability to adhere to all Memphis Goodwill and personnel policies and procedures
- Ability to follow good safety and security practices
- Ability to report safety hazards and injuries to the operations leadership team and/or risk management
- Ability to ensure proper accuracy of donor tracking and counts
- Ability to ensure proper use and accurately reporting of on-hand equipment
- Ability to work in a safe manner
- Ability to adhere to proper handling of material movement equipment
- Ability to communicate any safety hazards or concerns
- Ability to assist the Transportation team with the delivery and pick up of equipment both full and empty
- Ability to communicate with trainers and leadership on opportunities found in the ADC site
- Ability to support ADC peers on specific duties as needed on the ADC or requested by leadership
- Ability to participate in activities outside of Goodwill
- Ability to attend in-service and related training as assigned by team leader coach
