Job Summary
Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift, then separate and sort all donated materials into proper containers as instructed. Courteously assist donors in receiving items and provide receipts while ensuring the trailer is locked and secured. Separate and stack material according to supervisor directions, and assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary. Keep all reports and paperwork current and inform the supervisor of needed supplies before running out. Appear neatly dressed in accordance with The Salvation Army dress code policy.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors
- Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
- Must be have flexible availability for scheduling purposes
