Job Summary
Greet donors, issue pre-signed receipts, and sort donations into appropriate containers while maintaining accurate records. Safely unload furniture from vehicles and move merchandise, trash, and salvage using non-powered and powered equipment to keep product flowing to the sales floor. Price items using unit pricing or good/better/best optimization and maintain a clean work environment following 5S principles. Perform these duties while interacting professionally with co-workers, shoppers, and donors.
Required Qualifications
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment
- Must be 18 years old and over
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the facility
- Ability to use a full range of motion to lift push or pull up to 40 lbs
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklift and baler
- Work outside in all weather conditions, including hot or cold temperatures & inclement weather
- Must be able to clearly communicate
