Job Summary
Donation Attendant responsible for transporting donated goods from customer vehicles and GICO trucks, greeting the public professionally, issuing detailed receipts, keeping work areas clean, maintaining equipment, securing ADC at end of shift, preparing daily activity reports and inventories, and following safety policies. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver up to 200 pounds, and work 40 hours per week with variable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have GED or equivalent preferred and demonstrate customer-service experience; strong communication, teamwork, and paperwork-reading skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- GED or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrates experience in areas of customer service or interaction preferred
- Clear communication skills with supervisor, truck drivers, and customers
- Able to read and complete paperwork
- Good decision making skills
- Attends training as required
